Hello, my name is Kenneth Dickson.
I'm 43 years old and a lifelong resident of Anderson County. I graduated from Palestine High School in 1982. My wife, Becky, and I have been married for 21 years and we have 3 sons (17, 15 and 9 yrs old). Becky is a teacher at Neches ISD and my sons all attend school there.
I'm asking for your vote on November 4th for County Commissioner Precinct 3. I have owned and operated Dickson Sand and Gravel for over 20 years. During those years I have learned what it takes to manage a budget in good economic times and bad. I understand the value of our hard earned dollars. I will manage the Precict 3 budget as if it were my own business. I will always be willing to patiently listen to your needs, concerns, and wants. I assure you, I will be available 24/7.
I will be an effective voice in the Commissioners Court for Precinct 3. I will work with the other Commissioners and the County Judge for the benefit of the county.
I will offer a common sense approach to the court. I will be a full-time employee for Precinct 3 and will give it 110%.
I have always volunteered and given back to my community. I am past president of the Neches Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Little Dribblers program. I am the Board Director for the Anderson, Cherokee and Henderson Counties Baseball Association. I serve as Deacon at Dogwood Hills Baptist Church. I helped manage the building program for our new building. I teach an Adult Sunday School Class, and I am the Commander of the AWANA program for the children.
I feel my experince as a small business owner has provided me with the skills to be your next County Commissioner. My voluteer efforts have afforded me opportunities to work closely with people in meeting goals for the common good.
I ask for your vote on November 4th as your next County Commissioner Precinct 3.
